Hog Roast Kings Ripton: Say Hello To Hogtober With A Spit Roasted Pig!

October, or as we like to call it, Hogtober has arrived – and we all know what that means! Yes, from dreamy autumnal festivals to unforgettable rustic garden weddings, our Hog Roast Kings Ripton team has a busy month lined up, and we can’t wait to tell you all about the events we have coming our way.

Hog Roast Kings RiptonFirstly though, did you hear that we have almost completely overhauled our service? It’s true! With COVID still a huge concern, we have been doing our bit to keep our customers and clients safe while still being just as dedicated to providing those mouth-wateringly delicious hog roast feasts that first put us on the map over two decades ago!

This means, if you book with Hog Roast Kings Ripton, you can expect our catering staff to arrive in full PPE, and along with our usual serving tables we now bring with us the sanitation station: gloves, sanitiser, masks – you know, all the good stuff! Plus, we have also made some key changes to our menus, starting with the temporary removal of the buffet option, and the introduction of pork joints, which where appropriate, are offered in place of a whole pig which is helping to cut food waste. That’s not all though, we have also expanded our service to include a delivery option. Yep, you really did read that right. Piping hot, ready-to-eat hog roast deliveries that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home are now a full-blown reality – you’re welcome!

Having been a long-time client of ours, Jennifer was so pleased when she found out about our latest lockdown-friendly measures, and after spotting the Gourmet Delivery option on social media, she was excited to find out more and even book one for herself and the rest of her household.

Last Saturday seemed as good a day as any other to trial our newest service, and as always, the Hog Roast Kings Ripton customer service team were more than happy to walk her through every step of the order. In the end, Jennifer opted for soft gluten-free rolls stuffed full of pulled pork, applesauce, crackling and coleslaw – and the result left the whole family in a great mood!
