A Hog Roast Pidley Feast For Carnivores And Vegetarians

Here at Hog Roast Pidley, we’re often asked to cater all kinds of different parties and events, and whatever special occasion you might be planning, we’re sure our services will be suitable. From birthday celebrations to school fairs, christenings to retirements, weddings to corporate functions and everything else in-between, our experts create delicious dishes using top-quality, fresh ingredients, and local where possible, like the meat that we source from trusted butchers and farmers.

For many years now, we’ve offered plenty of choice and variety in order to ensure that all our customers’ guests can enjoy our food, regardless of personal preference, appetite or dietary requirements. While our famous Hog Roast Pidley hog roasts are by far our most popular main course to serve, either as pigs in buns or as part of a plated meal, we also understand the need for alternatives, as well as additional dishes. One look at our menus and you’ll see spit-roasted meats, speciality menus like our Southern Slow Roast and Loaded Fries and substitute dishes to cater for various diets like vegetarian and vegan, as well as a great array of starters, sides, desserts and even canapés. Whatever you have in mind for your next special occasion, we’ve got something for everyone.

Over the weekend, Hog Roast Pidley catered a private party where we were asked to serve two mains, two sides and a dessert. We welcome our customers to mix and match items between menus if it means you can feature exactly what you want, but we can also help you to create your own menu from scratch if that’s better for you. For this particular party, mains of pigs in buns and vegetarian skewers, sides of spicy sweet potato wedges and homemade coleslaw and profiteroles for dessert would be just the ticket.

After setting up our equipment and preparing the meat to be roasted, it was sizzling away for several hours. Meanwhile, our team made our coleslaw and profiteroles, cooked the skewers and wedges and prepared all the fixings for the pigs in buns, and by the time all the guests had arrived, we had a great feast ready to serve.
