Hog Roast Soham Cooking Up A Treat For An Engagement Party

With Hog Roast Soham at the wheel, your catering needs are in safe, capable hands, regardless of the type of party or event that you’re planning. Whether you need trusted professionals to provide delicious food on one of the most important days of your life – your own wedding day – or for an informal gathering to celebrate a birthday, retirement or christening, or anything else in between, we’ve got your back.

Hog Roast SohamIn terms of the food that we provide, it’s so much more than a hog roast and that’s not to say our signature dish isn’t loved by so many of our customers and their guests, as it really is. We just happen to know that some people prefer different food or need an alternative due to dietary restrictions, and that’s why we have always made sure to offer plenty of choice. From spit-roasted lamb, beef, chicken or turkey to a barbecue of burgers, sausages and ribs, meat-eaters will be seriously spoilt for choice, and if you’re feeling adventurous, we can even cook you a more exotic meat if you like.

For guests on special diets, Hog Roast Soham has on offer an array of dishes, so vegetarians can enjoy our halloumi and veg skewers, stuffed mushrooms or a Spanish quiche, for example, while vegans can benefit from dishes that are adapted so that they are made suitable. One thing our new customers Helen and Dave were very surprised about was the fact that our pigs in buns are suitable for gluten-free guests when we just make one tiny adjustment – we take along gluten-free bread rolls!

When Helen and Dave asked Hog Roast Soham to cook plenty of pigs in buns for their engagement party, they were worried that Helen’s mum couldn’t enjoy them too, due to her gluten intolerance, so when we told them she could, they were over the moon.

On Saturday afternoon, our chef and catering assistants prepared and cooked a fabulous centrepiece hog roast for several hours and then served the couple and their forty guests seconds or more of our amazing pigs in buns, until everyone was stuffed and by the end of service, the hog had been stripped clean.
