Corporate hospitality is one of our specialities here at Hog Roast Benwick and our dedicated team love to provide service with a smile no matter the number of guests, and that’s whether it’s just a group of employees at Christmas or a spring training event where there’s hundreds of staff, colleagues or customers.

Earlier today was no different when we provided a gorgeous slow-roasted hog meal for the staff at a local amusements company. As their Christmas party had to be cancelled due to illness, the boss wanted to let everyone know that their hard work had not gone unnoticed and that Christmas would come a little late with this centrepiece Hog Roast Benwick. The glorious meat would be served in fresh bread rolls together with our homemade apple sauce and stuffing and plenty of salty crackling carved right off the beast.

We arrived at the premises this morning to start roasting the medium-sized pig for a few hours before a mid-afternoon service. Some of the employees occasionally looked out of the windows and licked their lips or popped outside to take in the amazing aromas created by our hog. After 5 long hours of cooking away, where many of the guests seemed in pain from not being able to dig in yet, we eventually began to carve off slice after slice of meaty goodness, first in the form of the crackling, which we piled into a big tray, and then by slicing into the hog and filling a couple of trays with lots of pieces of the juicy pork, ready to stuff into the bread rolls and top with the stuffing and sauces.

The boss was first in the queue to fill his plate with our pigs in buns and some freshly prepared salad and he said it was only fair that he tried it out before everyone else. Once he declared it a triumph, he let his guests enjoy their fill too, but not before he got back into the queue again, saying just how irresistible our Hog Roast Benwick really was!
