Edward has worked as a steam train driver for the last thirty years, and before that, he worked on repairing the tracks. It is a job he has always loved and has been his dream since he was a child, but he is deciding to retire this spring at the age of 76. Both of his children are currently expecting, so he will soon have two new grandchildren in his family that he is eager to spend more time with. Because of this, it is finally time to say goodbye to his time on the trains. To celebrate this chapter coming to an end, his children have organised a party for all of Edward’s friends, family, and colleagues to attend. The event will include a delicious meal from Hog Roast Peterborough and live music from a great local band.
