In celebration of International Women’s Day earlier this month, Jean, a dedicated team leader, orchestrated a fun-filled luncheon for her 15 female staff members. With the intention of rewarding them for their hard work and dedication, she spared no effort in ensuring they experienced a day to remember.

The event commenced with a mocktail-making class, setting the tone for a fun and interactive experience. Excitement filled the air as the group bonded over creating refreshing beverages, each concoction a unique reflection of their personalities.

The morning’s drink-making class certainly worked up the group’s appetite, so it was just as well Jean had also arranged for the team to indulge in an all-you-can-eat buffet courtesy of Hog Roast Chatteris. Our caterers, renowned for their keen attention to detail, efficiency and mind-blowing cooking skills went above and beyond to exceed the client’s expectations.

As the guests gathered around the dining tables, they all but drooled over rustic charcuterie board centrepieces our crew had set out. Laden with an assortment of cold-cut Italian meats, fine cheeses, and artisanal breads, these platters served as the perfect appetiser, encouraging lively conversations and shared moments of delight.

Of course, no Hog Roast Chatteris experience would be quite complete without our signature hog roast. The succulent meat, savoury stuffing, and perfectly salted crackling elicited murmurs of delight from all who sampled it. Paired with sides of coleslaw, salads, and buttered new potatoes, the menu featured an explosion of wholesome flavours that tickled every set of taste buds.

As the luncheon drew to a close, Hog Roast Chatteris unveiled the dessert table. Our team had whipped up individual cheesecakes with creamy vanilla filling and rich chocolate tortes, each served with fresh cream and chopped berries. It was a fitting finale to an extraordinary meal, leaving guests with smiles of contentment and satisfaction.

Jean, the mastermind behind this unforgettable afternoon, was overjoyed with the outcome. Her vision of celebrating her female staff in style had been realised beyond her wildest dreams.
