Valentine’s Day is sure to arrive in no time, so Hog Roast Great Paxton is currently finalising the details of a romantic event that we are catering for at a local artisan pub. Mark, the landlord, wanted to host an event for couples to enjoy, with a delicious meal served alongside an array of seasonal cocktails and themed drinks. For the catering, he hired our team, since he previously hired us to work at his venue for an event in 2023. Mark was extremely happy with our service and he saw plenty of satisfied customers, so he was more than happy to book with our team again for this occasion. This time, we will be serving a three-course meal to the guests, with plenty of delicious dishes on offer.
Our formal Valentine’s Meal will start with a delicious homemade soup for the day, served alongside fresh bread and butter. This is a simple yet classic way to start the meal and is ideal for enjoying a romantic cocktail. For the main course, we will be serving our delicious slow-roasted hog, which will be cooked to perfection on-site and served alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, crispy crackling, roasted vegetables, and baby potatoes. This is a hearty and delicious main course, with plenty of options for the guests to enjoy. Finally, we will be serving profiteroles or sticky toffee pudding, with each dessert accompanied by a signature cocktail to compliment it.
